Hello all my favorite blog readers!
I have been asked to do a craft with my third grader's class at the Valentine's Day Party next week. I love crafts and have done internet searches but would love to hear suggestions from you!
Thanks in advance for sharing all of your favorite ideas that you've done with your children and your classrooms over the years!

Krista,
One of my favorites is "Stained Glass" Heart Suncatchers. You cut large (10-12 inch) same-sized hearts out of waxed paper. Give each child two hearts have them lay one down on their workspace and shave bits of colored crayon all over it. They can use plastic knives to do this. Then they place the second waxed paper heart on top. Have an adult use an iron (set on low with a paper towel as a buffer) to iron the heart and melt the crayon shavings. Use a hole punch to put a hole in the top center and hang in a window. Very pretty!
